Madrid welcomed community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to celebrate dialogue, diversity and mutual respect. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Human Rights Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers shared personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how mutual knowledge can help build more inclusive communities.
Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
